How to Upload a File

Artwork & FileFrequently Asked Questions

First, log in to your account.

If you don’t have one yet, you’ll need to create one. Once you’re logged in, look for the “+ New Item” button on the top bar. Give it a click, and a pop-up window will appear.

In the pop-up window, you’ll see a button that says “SELECT YOUR FILE.” Click it to pick the file you want to upload.

Accepted file types include:

Adobe Illustrator (*.AI preferred), Adobe Acrobat (*.PDF), Photoshop (*.PSD), *.JPG, *.PNG or *.TIFF (note for JPG, PNG or TIFF please provide a file that is at least 300PPI (preferably 800PPI)).

Once the file is uploaded, enter a unique ID for your label (part number). If you don’t have one, no worries – you can let the system assign one automatically.

In the description box, give your item a name. You can keep it simple like “dog label version1”, or just let the system use the file name.

In the Die box, tell us which die you used. You can visit all of our in-house dies here, and remember to follow our art specs when using our templates.

Choose the label material you want.

We have basics material like White Paper, White Poly, Metallic Silver Poly, and Clear Poly. If you want something different, like Removable White Poly, Kraft Paper, or White Felt, scroll down on the pop-up window for more options.

Once you selected the material, next step is the color. Most of the time, the system will adjust the right color for your material. For example, if you pick White Poly, it’ll set the color to 4 (CMYK). If you go for Metallic Silver Poly, it’ll use 5 (CMYK + White). The rare 1% is for advanced stuff, like extra layers or special color options.

Lastly, you need to decide on a finish.

Keep in mind that “no laminate” means your label won’t have extra protection. But here’s an exception: if you choose Kraft Paper or White Felt, they don’t need lamination. So, if you’re using those materials, go for “no laminate.”
